South Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

As the Occupational Therapist you will deliver quality paediatric occupational therapy services across the continuum of care to patients and families of the Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service as part of a team of occupational therapists or within an inter-disciplinary or multi-disciplinary team, to provide tertiary level health services to children and adolescents

About The Team
As part of the Allied Health team our tertiary paediatric acute occupational therapy service provides high level care, based on evidence-based practice and international standards of care. Advanced clinicians are available in all occupational therapy teams, whilst supervision and governance are underpinned by National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards. Subspecialty teams provide patient centred management to develop programs specifically individualised to the child and family's unique needs that can be delivered as outpatients, day patients, inpatients, or via telehealth.

About The Role
In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values . Your contribution will include:

Clinical Practice

  • Acquire skills and knowledge to deliver quality occupational therapy clinical services across a variety of caseloads in an acute hospital setting in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
