The Role:

The Finance Officer is responsible for the maintenance of billing, collection and reporting activities associated with payments received, whilst liaising with suppliers and internal departments to achieve desired financial outcomes and ongoing customer satisfaction. They may also participate in ad-hoc duties such as reception coverage during periods of absence.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Maintain Accounts Receivable Customer Job Files.
  • Reconciliation of Banking Accounts.
  • Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
  • Follow up collection and allocation of payments.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.
  • Produce monthly reports.
  • Assist in month end closing.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties as and when directed.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in high volume, multi-company data entry
  • Ability to organise transactions and priorities requests
  • Excellent Verbal & Written Skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft D365 software (preferred)
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving attitude
  • An eye for detail to maintain accuracy
  • Ability to navigate new programs with ease
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Have Australian working rights

Previous experience in a large Australia-Wide Company with Interstate or International locations and 2+ years related experience within the industry is desirable.
