About the School
Located in a vibrant agricultural and farming community, Taroom State School is part of the Miles Cluster within the Darling Downs South West Region. With around 180 students from Prep to Year 10, our school offers a close-knit, supportive environment where educators can make a tangible impact.

About the Role
As Head of Department - Curriculum at Taroom State School, you will lead curriculum development and pedagogical improvement across the P-10 setting. You'll guide staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences, set and uphold strong performance standards, and ensure every student is supported to achieve their best.
This position plays a key role in building teacher capability, embedding socially just practices, and strengthening partnerships with parents and the wider community. You will also manage departmental resources and contribute strategically to whole-school planning and improvement.
