About Goondiwindi State High School
Goondiwindi (pop - 6,500) is a vibrant rural town and locality, with a strong sense of community, on the banks of the Macintyre River approx. 200km east of Toowoomba. It is a centre for agriculture, producing a diverse range of crops and fibres including wool and beef, cotton, sorghum, corn, wheat, and barley.

About the Role
You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
- Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
- Be futures oriented and strategic.
Department housing may be available.
