Exciting new SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) opportunity exists within our growing team for work on challenging and varied Government project.  In joining our highly experienced and well regarded Data and Analytics practice, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career and expand your knowledge of SAP Data Services and SAP Business warehouse.  This role will suit someone who is very keen to learn, shows initiative and has a flexible and enthusiastic attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) jobs for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Maintain and enhance existing BODS jobs, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability.
  • Implement data integration solutions using SAP Information Steward (IS) for data profiling, cleansing, and quality monitoring.
  • Analyse business and technical requirements to design optimal data flows and mappings.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for BODS and IS solutions, including data flow diagrams, mapping specifications, and deployment guides.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues in development, test, and production environments.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support data migration projects, including source-to-target mapping, data validation, and reconciliation.
  • Apply best practices in ETL design, performance tuning, and error handling.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with organisational and security policies
