As we continue to grow, we're looking for a driven and results-oriented Manager Growth and Partnerships (NSW) to lead client engagement, business development, and growth initiatives across our healthcare partnerships.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager – Growth, you will lead account management, new business development, and partnership growth activities across SWC's NSW client base.

This role provides leadership and guidance to local Business Development Manager(s), ensuring strong performance, strategic alignment, and achievement of team and individual sales targets.

Success in this role will come from your ability to maintain trusted client relationships, identify and convert new opportunities, and deliver measurable growth outcomes. You'll thrive in an environment where accountability, collaboration, and results drive everything you do.

As this is a relationship-driven role, intra-state travel will be required to meet with clients, visit workplaces, and represent SWC at industry and networking events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support Business Development Manager(s) to achieve individual and team growth and performance targets.
  • Manage and grow key client accounts across hospital and healthcare networks, ensuring satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities to expand SWC's client portfolio and meet revenue goals.
  • Drive growth within existing accounts by identifying opportunities for additional programs, traineeships, and qualifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and an excellent client experience.
  • Represent SWC at industry forums, networking events, and stakeholder meetings to strengthen our profile across the sector.
  • Provide accurate reporting on pipeline activity, client engagement, and growth outcomes.

About You

You're a target-driven relationship builder with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding business growth objectives. You're commercially minded, confident in sales conversations, and skilled at turning partnerships into measurable results.

You will also bring:

  • Minimum five years' experience in account management, relationship management, sales, or business development.
  • Proven experience in leading and supporting a team to achieve growth and performance outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success in new business development – from prospecting through to conversion.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector would be highly regarded.
  • Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot desirable) for sales and pipeline management.
  • High level of professionalism, initiative, and organisational capability.
  • Current driver's licence and Working with Children Check.
