KPay Group (KPay) is a leading fintech company dedicated to empowering businesses of all sizes with simple, smart, seamless and secure technology solutions. Serving over 72,000 merchants across Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Australia, KPay is unleashing merchants' growth potential by building a one-stop platform for financial management, business operations and digital transformation. KPay secures a record USD55 million in 2024, marking the largest series A fundraise globally in the payments sector of the year.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Partnership Associate to
develop and execute
partnership acquisition strategies, onboard strategic partners, and close high-value deals. This role is pivotal in
defining
KPay's go-to-market strategy in the AUS region,
orchestrating
cross-functional teams, and
optimizing operational processes
to scale our partnerships and revenue streams effectively.
We're seeking hardworking, fast-learning, and results-driven candidates who are open to travel and can thrive and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Partnership Development & Go-to-Market:
- Develop and own the partnership strategy for the AUS market, identifying key verticals (e.g., POS systems, accounting software) and defining target partner profiles.
- Source and build a robust partnership pipeline, focusing on high-impact, strategic alliances.
- Lead the end-to-end partnership lifecycle: from market analysis and prospecting to pitching, contract negotiation, and launch.
- Design joint business plans and go-to-market strategies with key partners to ensure mutual growth and market penetration.
2. Operational Excellence & Partner Management:
- Establish and streamline operational processes for partner onboarding, integration, and ongoing management.
- Collaborate with legal, product, and compliance teams to create scalable and efficient workflows that accelerate time-to-revenue.
- Develop and manage a performance dashboard to track the health and ROI of the partner portfolio.
3. Lead Management & Revenue Growth:
- Actively manage, qualify, and track leads generated from channel partnerships.
- Develop tailored solutions for partners, ensuring alignment with KPay's product offerings and market needs.
- Maintain a robust pipeline using CRM tools and provide regular forecasts and strategic insights to leadership.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership & Project Management:
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Sales) to execute partnership initiatives and ensure successful merchant integrations.
- Oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic business goals.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a high-performance, collaborative culture.
5. Performance Optimization & Strategy Refinement:
- Track and analyze KPIs (e.g., conversion rates, partner-generated revenue, activation rates) to refine the partnership strategy and operational playbooks.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify whitespace opportunities and inform strategic pivots.
- Continuously iterate on partnership models, compensation structures, and program features to maximize scalability and partner satisfaction.
Requirements:
- A first-round case study is required.
- No prior experience needed—we value strategic thinking, hard work, passion, and a willingness to learn above all.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex operations and cross-functional projects.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Excel, and analytics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Language skills are a bonus, but English is the primary working language.
What We Offer:
- Significant strategic impact and ownership in a high-growth fintech innovator.
- Opportunity to shape KPay's expansion and work with global partners.
- Exposure to C-level leadership and a chance to drive core business strategy.
