The Opportunity

Our Commercial team is looking for an International Markets Coordinator within our International Markets team based in Port Kembla, with hybrid work flexibility. This is an initial 12-month fixed-term opportunity, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
In this fast-paced role, you'll play a critical role in overseeing the financial and documentation processes for export steel shipments, ensuring revenue is received securely and on time, while reducing risk across our international sales and shipments. - coordinate export documentation to ensure revenue is received securely and on-time
- review and process export letters of credit
- accurately prepare and lodge shipping documents
- interpret and apply varying customer documentation requirements in line with internal processes and international compliance standards
- look to further improve current processes allowing for greater efficiency
More About You
As someone who thrives on structure and detail-oriented tasks but also enjoys navigating new challenges, you will bring:
- an ability to work autonomously and take ownership of ensuring documentation is complete and accurate
- computer and numerical literacy, comfortable working across multiple systems and datasets
- adept at prioritising and managing conflicting deadlines, including an ability to work under time-pressure
- effective communication and influencing skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and customers
- a solutions-focused mindset with the ability to assess ambiguous situations and resolve issues independently or collaboratively
