The Opportunity
Join our Australian Steel Market business in our Customer Service Team as an Account Coordinator based in Port Kembla, NSW. You'll also have the opportunity to work from home one day a week, and spend one day each fortnight at our Chullora, NSW office, a great chance to connect, share insights, and deepen your understanding of our operations.
As an Account Coordinator, you'll be at the centre of how we connect with and support our customers. Your initiative and customer-first mindset will be valued every day, with your contribution directly supporting exceptional customer service outcomes.
You will be the key customer representative to a dedicated portfolio of valued customer accounts, maintaining our high standards of service delivery and growing your professional knowledge with an iconic Australian company. This is a dynamic role where you'll learn how our business operates from the inside out, supporting a dedicated portfolio of customers and working with teams across the business. It's hands-on, fast-paced, and deeply rewarding, and you'll be supported every step of the way.
What Will You Do?
In this varied role, you will:
- manage the customer experience for your account portfolio
- work with internal stakeholders to provide solutions and deliver product in line with customer business needs
- provide our customers with real-time updates on product and service-related matters
- identify improvements with our systems and processes, assisting with implementing changes for internal teams and customers

As an energetic customer service professional, you will bring your sociable and collaborative approach to the team. You will bring:
- experience within a customer service environment
- sound experience with relationship management and conflict resolution
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- high attention to detail and ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- a strong customer focus with the ability to resolve issues and identify solutions
- expertise with various digital platforms, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and D365, and a strong adaptability to dynamic processes and evolving system environments
