We are seeking a
Junior Legal Assistant
to join our busy Melbourne family law team. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their professional career who is organised, proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • File and matter management support, including preparing and collating legal documents
  • Drafting and formatting correspondence under supervision
  • Managing diaries, appointments and court dates
  • Filing with the Court portals and handling e-lodgments
  • Liaising with counsel, experts, and other stakeholders
  • Assisting lawyers with court bundles, disclosure, and document organisation
  • General administrative tasks as required

About You

  • Previous administrative or assistant experience (legal industry experience highly regarded, but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
