Our Marketing team are looking for a new permanent full-time Field Marketing Coordinator.

Reporting to the National Field Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the sales team, brand team and key stakeholders to help create and execute trade marketing activity in both the on and off premise, delivering against our brand objectives and volume goals.

You will be responsible for executing all consumer activations and trade events, including Balter owned events, Beer Festivals and 3rd party events with the key objective to drive brand awareness and drive consumer and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

The purpose of the Trade Marketing Coordinator Role is to deliver key outcomes for the brand, with the key responsibilities being:

  • Work closely with the Trade Marketing Manager to create and deliver promotional campaigns, including briefing our design team to create POS, managing creation of T&Cs, POS printing & kitting as well as executing into market.

  • Work closely with the national sales team and third parties to plan, execute and report on consumer activations & events (including beer festivals, on premise activations and third-party activations) in line with brand expectations and strategy.

  • Warehousing and inventory management of all trade marketing POS and merchandise, both locally at the Brewery and in the Asahi / CUB trade marketing platforms & SKULibrary
  • Support the national sales team with merchandise and POS requests including ordering and dispatch.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing activities and consumer events, providing insights and recommendations to continuously improve our approach.
  • Ownership of local & national event infrastructure suite including ordering, maintenance and logistics.
  • Management of the annual calendar of events, sponsorships and activations, including liaising with partners, suppliers, sponsors, internal stakeholders and customers to building event activation plans
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, graphic design and sales to ensure consistency and alignment of marketing material and communication.

Allocation of Time:

  • This varies heavily from week to week but is approximately 70% computer work & administrational duties – planning events, trade marketing duties etc. The other 30% is related to prepping, executing and packing down events, cleaning & dispatching infrastructure etc

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (desirable)
  • Strong industry knowledge, experience in FMCG or Trade Marketing preferred

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be physically fit and able – this job includes event set-up and pack down which includes some heavy lifting etc.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must have an appetite to learn and a strong, solution-oriented work ethic.
  • An understanding of the craft beer, consumer events and FMCG trade marketing industry is a plus.
  • Must be ok with variable work hours, including weekends and late nights, depending on the event calendar.
