Neumann Steel is one of the most reputable family-owned and operated companies first established on the Gold Coast. We have been around for over 50 years and specialise in steel reinforcing, manufacturing and distributing reinforced steel and plastic bar chair products to the Queensland and NSW markets. Our highly integrated supply chain is supported by our experienced staff, which houses a wealth of industry knowledge.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Administrator's primary role is to support the HR Advisors across a wide range of activities. There will be a focus on maintaining records, file organising, scheduling appointments, assisting team members and drafting correspondence and/or messages.

**About the role**:

- Assist with the coordination of the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, phone screening, scheduling interviews, reference checking and maintaining system records
- Support the employee onboarding process, including processing new employees through relevant systems, managing new starter documentation and welcome packs and liaising with line managers regarding the onboarding and induction process
- Manage the employee probation program, ensuring managers are aware of upcoming probations well in advance and issuing letters as required
- Support the preparation of variation letters for employees and other documentation when required
- Manage all employee birthdays through calendar invites and issuing vouchers monthly
- Deliver employee Service Awards, including gifts and awards
- Producing and maintaining a range of HR documentation, including employment contracts, policies, procedures, templates, flow charts, organisational charts, reports and other workforce-related documentation
- Maintain and update HR documentation as required

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or related field preferred and/or high-level administrative skills preferred
- The ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Proven success in building collaborative relationships with HR managers and clients/stakeholders
- The discipline to work autonomously whilst maintaining transparent communication
