As an Optical Dispenser at George and Matilda Eyecare in Albany Creek, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with their eyewear needs, ensuring they receive the best products and services tailored to their individual requirements. This casual position offers flexibility in working hours while contributing to a supportive local community through industry-leading eyecare.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients in selecting eyewear that meets their needs and preferences.
  • Provide clear communication regarding product features, benefits, and care instructions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optical products and services offered by the store.
  • Ensure a welcoming environment for all patients by demonstrating friendliness and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing displays.

About you

  • 1-2 years Optical dispensing experience preferred or similar retail environments
  • Passionate about patient care and customer service
  • Ability to quickly develop product knowledge
  • Friendly team player with patience, energy, enthusiasm, and passion
  • Flexible availability hours per week, including half day Saturdays and late night trade until 7pm
