Are you an ambitious Optical Dispenser looking for growth? Look no further Eyecare Plus Nundah is seeking a motivated Optical Dispenser to join our team as a Dispenser & train to become a Practice Manager. The right candidate also has a potential to practice ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Frame styling: dispense prescription eyewear ensuring a perfect fit and alignment with patients' needs.
  • Educate patients on lens options based on lifestyle needs.
  • Following up with patients via calls and emails. (Our reminders & recalls are automated)
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain an efficient dispensary.
  • Coordinating medicare submissions and DVA Claims
  • Minor repairs in store
  • Pre-testing when required
  • Contact lens teaching & handling (desirable)
  • Social Media - Facebook & Instagram (desirable)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Optical Dispenser or similar role in the optical industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proficiency in using optical equipment and relevant computer software for dispensing and managing patient records.
  • Knowledge of lens types, coatings, and frame styles to assist patients in making informed choices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced, patient-centric setting.
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as part of career advancement.
