Receptionist/Optical Dispencer

We have an opportunity for a part time or casual Receptionist/Optical Dispenser to join our team at Mark Gibson Optometrist, Corinda.  We are a respected Independent Optometry practice, dedicated to providing exceptional eye care to the local community for over 25 years.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

• We are looking for a Receptionist/Optical Dispenser to join our team. This is a casual/part time position of approximately 15 hours/week and includes some Saturday morning work. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to increase hours in the future.  We are looking for someone who is flexible and able to work extra hours during busy periods and cover holiday and sick leave.
• The role involves customer service, reception work, processing payments, placing orders and general clerical duties.
• Assist with the day to day running of the practice.
• Recommend frames and lenses appropriately.
• Technical services e.g. frame adjustments and minor repairs.
• Problem solving and ability to think on your feet.

• Knowledge of the Sunix operating system is highly desirable, however training will be given to the successful applicant.
• Good accurate computer skills essential.
