About the Role
- Lead the kitchen team at The Bavarian Coomera, delivering authentic Bavarian cuisine to the highest standards.
- Oversee daily operations including food quality, team management, and cost control.
- Foster a positive, high-performing kitchen culture focused on training and growth.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with management to drive menu innovation and venue success.
What We're Looking For
- Proven Leadership: Previous experience as a Head Chef in a pub-style or casual dining environment.
- Operational Know-How: Strong skills in rostering, labour management, food COGS, and inventory control.
- Expert Communicator: Excellent communication and technical knowledge to lead the back-of-house team and deliver seamless operations.
- Compliance Champion: Solid understanding of Food Safety standards with a current Food Safety Supervisor Certification.
- Passion for People: A genuine drive to mentor, develop, and inspire junior chefs on their culinary journey.
