About the Role

  • Lead the kitchen team at The Bavarian Coomera, delivering authentic Bavarian cuisine to the highest standards.
  • Oversee daily operations including food quality, team management, and cost control.
  • Foster a positive, high-performing kitchen culture focused on training and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with management to drive menu innovation and venue success.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven Leadership: Previous experience as a Head Chef in a pub-style or casual dining environment.
  • Operational Know-How: Strong skills in rostering, labour management, food COGS, and inventory control.
  • Expert Communicator: Excellent communication and technical knowledge to lead the back-of-house team and deliver seamless operations.
  • Compliance Champion: Solid understanding of Food Safety standards with a current Food Safety Supervisor Certification.
  • Passion for People: A genuine drive to mentor, develop, and inspire junior chefs on their culinary journey.
