Ra is a modern Sri Lankan-inspired restaurant bringing bold flavours and fresh ideas to the Sunshine Coast. Since opening in late 2024, we've built a reputation for our warm hospitality and vibrant dining experience – and now we're looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.

About the Role

We're seeking a creative, passionate, and hands-on Head Chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll take ownership of the kitchen – from menu development and cost control, to leading and inspiring the team. This is a unique opportunity to bring your vision to life in a young and growing restaurant.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous in a quality restaurant
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Creativity with menu design, ideally with an interest in modern Sri Lankan or Asian-inspired cuisine
  • Ability to manage food costs, ordering, and kitchen operations
  • A positive attitude, professionalism, and attention to detail
