Reporting directly to the Manager Aged Care – St Joseph's Nursing Home, the Roster Officer assists in creating and managing staff rosters. The key requirements of the job are strong organisational and communication skills.

To be successful, applicants will need to possess the following:

  • Knowledge of appropriate organisational rostering requirements and staff qualifications an advantage
  • Proficiency with rostering software (Emplive) or willingness to learn
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills within a team environment
  • Strong administrative and forward planning organisational skills
  • Proven ability to handle competing priorities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a similar administrative role would be advantageous

About us

St Joseph's Nursing Home (SJNH), Lismore is a 130 bed Accredited Aged Care Facility owned and operated by the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Church, Diocese of Lismore since 1936. St. Joseph's is located on the grounds of St Vincent's Private Hospital. The facility specialises in high care services for the frail aged, palliative care and residents living with dementia. The facility enjoys a reputation for high quality care. The successful applicant will be required to work in harmony with the mission and values of St Joseph's.
