ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a People & Culture Business Partner who is passionate about creating great workplaces and empowered teams across Australia and New Zealand.

As a People & Culture Business Partner, you'll partner with leaders to translate strategy into workforce outcomes. You'll combine strategic workforce planning, leadership enablement, employee relations, and operational delivery to support a positive employee experience and build leadership capability.

What you'll be doing:

  • Guiding and coaching leaders through employment matters, with a focus on performance, conduct, and compliance
  • Supporting organisational change and capability uplift, particularly around performance, an inclusive and member-centric culture
  • Leading initiatives that bring our people strategy to life—from onboarding through to retention and development

  • Bringing people data to the table to support better decisions and real outcomes

ABOUT YOU

This is your opportunity to be a true difference-maker—someone who builds trust, uplifts others, and helps shape a future-focused, values-led culture. If you thrive on partnering with others, challenging the status quo, and enabling meaningful change, this could be the next exciting step in your HR career.

You don't need to tick every box—but if the following sounds like you, we'd love to kōrero:

  • Proven HR business partnering experience (ideally 5+ years)
  • Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment law, workplace relations, and WHS frameworks
  • Skilled in complex employee relations, change management, and workforce planning
  • Confident in influencing and building trusted relationships with senior leaders
  • Digitally fluent, with experience using HRIS and new technologies (including AI)
  • Collaborative, committed to learning, and passionate about building a high-performing culture
  • You're comfortable stepping into ambiguity and influencing teams to embrace accountability, growth, and new ways of working
  • Most importantly, you bring energy, curiosity, and a desire to create lasting change through people

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification or relevant experience in Human Resources or Business
  • Professional membership/accreditation (HRNZ, CIPD, SHRM, AHRI) is desirable

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

When you join us, you become part of a values-led organisation that cares deeply about its people. You'll enjoy:

  • A hybrid working model with regular connection days in our Sydney office
  • Two additional CA leave days over the Christmas closure period
