Short Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) this position carries out cyber security monitoring and ensures that security events are identified in the early stages to ensure that adverse effects are prevented. This position works to optimise cyber security monitoring and response throughout the enterprise.

What about the role:
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to manage security risks and advanced cyber threats;
- Carrying out vulnerability assessments, security audits & reviews on a regular basis;
- Working as part of a team to conduct security threat and risk assessments on an ad-hoc basis;
- Carry out daily cyber security monitoring and ensure that security events are identified in the early stages to ensure that adverse effects are prevented, and HIGH and CRITICAL incidents are kept to a minimum;
- Provide cyber security subject matter expertise and assistance as per business requirements to internal and external stakeholders on an ad-hoc basis.
- Incident detection, response and remediation;
- Conduct risk assessment, vulnerability assessments, security audits/reviews, and cyber threat emulation against Citadel Group's internal and external environments;
- Assisting with the deployment of new security platforms;
- Automation of cyber security processes and activities;
- Continuous cyber security monitoring of networks, servers, endpoints, and cloud applications in an enterprise environment;
- Contribute to implementation of cyber security strategy and program of work;
What experience or qualifications do I need:
- Must be eligible and willing to obtain a security clearance;
- 2-3+ years' experience in information security with experience in security operations environments;
- Knowledge and experience across SIEM, Endpoint Detection, Azure Security, Email Security, Web Proxy/Security and Network Security solutions;
- 2-3+ years' experience in information technology;
- Experience in vulnerability assessments, firewalls, content filtering, file integrity monitoring technologies;
- Experience with Microsoft 365, AWS Security and Cloud Security Fundamentals;
- IT or Information Security related qualifications and certifications;
- Highly desired but not required to have experience in software development, with specific experience in complex security operations environments;
- Highly desired but not required experience across forensics and reverse engineering;
