Qualifications

  1. Minimum of two years of experience in a cybersecurity analyst or engineering role, preferably within a Managed Security Service Provider environment.
  2. Proficiency with security information and event management (SIEM) tools, Endpoint Detection and Response Tools (EDR/XDR), Firewalls, and other security technologies.
  3. Strong understanding of network protocols, security operations, and incident response methodologies.
  4. Experience with security incident investigation, analysis, and reporting.
  5. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ASD Essential 8).
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  7. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
