About You

We're looking for receptionists with the following:

  • Experience in medical reception or administrative support roles (GP or Aged Care highly regarded)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with medical software such as Best Practice, HotDoc, or similar
  • Ability to confidently manage front desk operations and patient enquiries
  • Flexible, friendly, and organised, with a passion for patient care
  • Comfortable working independently or within a clinical team environment

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your key responsibilities may include:

  • Greeting and assisting patients at the front desk
  • Answering phone calls and managing appointment bookings
  • Using clinic software (e.g. Best Practice, HotDoc) to coordinate daily schedules
  • Explaining clinic procedures and policies to new patients
  • Supporting the clinic team with administrative follow-ups and internal workflows
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies as needed
  • Providing basic support or training to other reception staff when required
