is seeking an experienced
Mine Systems and Reporting Superintendent
on behalf of a confidential client, a leading player in the mining sector, for a key role based in Asia.

This is a strategic opportunity to shape the digital and data backbone of one of the largest and most ambitious mining projects in the world, supporting the integration of IT systems and automation technologies with operational excellence. The role is ideal for professionals who combine deep mining expertise with advanced IT systems knowledge and a strong track record in technical leadership.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of IT and automation systems to support the mining department, in collaboration with the central IT department.
  • Develop system roadmaps aligned with the vision for Remote Operations Centres (ROC).
  • Ensure seamless integration of software systems for fleet management, production accounting, ERP, dispatch, geotechnical work, budgeting, and surveying.
  • Manage the procurement, installation, and acceptance of mining-related software.
  • Oversee the structure and standardization of operational and statistical reporting, ensuring data reliability for business planning and KPIs.
  • Design and execute training protocols for dispatch, autonomous hauling, and automated drilling systems.
  • Supervise the department responsible for system and reporting functions within mining operations.
  • Contribute to the automation of internal processes, including macro and script development.
  • Ensure high standards of data integration and interdepartmental communication through structured service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide leadership in operational excellence, performance improvement initiatives, and team capability development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in mining or IT systems, including 10+ years in mining and 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical understanding of industrial IT systems in mining ( FMS, dispatch, integration with ERP).
  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI.
  • Project management and analytical skills with a hands-on approach to systems integration and data flow optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in English
  • Track record of managing complex digital projects and collaborating across departments in heavy industry settings.
  • Willingness to relocate full-time to Asia (non-rotational schedule).
