Workforce coordinator
The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Workforce Coordinator enabling the delivery of ICT projects/programs.

The Workforce Coordinator provides support to delivery teams with the day-to-day oversight of resourcing to deliver the AEC's Indigo Program. This includes supporting the attraction, recruitment, and onboarding of staff, ensuring alignment with program timelines and Indigo workforce requirements.

The candidate must hold an active Baseline security clearance prior to commencement.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
Leveraging strong interpersonal skills, the Workforce Coordinator will:

  • Assist in coordinating and supporting program workforce activities
  • Monitor program timelines and key deliverables to ensure workforce alignment
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance and analysis of information to monitor and manage the sourcing, onboarding and offboarding of program resources.
  • Additional duties as directed by the relevant APS line manager

About The Team
Chief Information Officer Division (CIOD): The CIOD is one of two divisions within the AEC's Enterprise Transformation Group (ETG) and is responsible for delivering robust ICT functions and capabilities, maintaining election-ready systems, and delivering an ambitious ICT transformation and modernisation agenda. The CIOD leads and supports a range of AEC projects/programs including, but not limited to, the Modern Workplace Program, Cloud Technology Project, Polling Place Technology Project, and the Election Systems Modernisation Program (Indigo Program).

About The Project
Indigo Program (Tranche 2): The Indigo Program is a large-scale transformation program to modernise business capabilities and replace core election ICT systems with a citizen-centric, agile technology platform. The Program will transform the AEC's delivery of electoral services and ensure ongoing integrity of the electoral system. Tranche 2 comprises a variety of work packages with a focus on business process re-engineering, data management, legislative compliance and replacing aging systems.

Work Arrangements
Applicants will preferably perform the role in Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne or Brisbane. - Hybrid working arrangements (i.e. a combination of onsite attendance at an AEC office and remote working) will be accepted. Applicants in other locations will be considered at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
