QPRC is looking for an experienced professional to lead our Human Resources and Organisational Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate and innovative team and make a lasting impact in a progressive local government organisation.

In this role you will:
· Lead and motivate a professional HR team managing organisational development, recruitment, and payroll to deliver responsive, high-quality services.
· Provide expert advice on performance improvement and grievance handling.
· Utilise workforce analytics and people data to guide strategic decisions including workforce and succession planning, and training needs analysis.
· Coach leaders through complex management issues, change management, and annual performance appraisals.
We are looking for someone who:
· Holds a relevant degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, or Employee Relations.
· Has at least 5 years' experience in HR, recruitment, and organisational development.
· Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Is experienced in managing change, coaching managers on performance issues, and workforce planning.
· Inspires, supervises, and develops teams to achieve operational and strategic goals.
