Magden Constructions is seeking a Brisbane based, proactive and motivated Commercial Foreman - Fit Outs to become part of our expanding team. The business was established in 2011 and has enjoyed steady growth with many long-term clients. We provide a diverse range of fit-out and construction solutions spanning medical, office and commercial, fitness and residential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure quality workmanship on site
  • Ensure programme targets are met
  • All aspects of general carpentry
  • Ability to read plans, comply with standards, specifications and any other technical information relating to materials and methods used in constructions
  • Champion workplace health and safety and ensure all sites meet environmental and WHS requirements
  • Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, trades & suppliers.
  • Assisting Project Management with considerations to budget and time constrains

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years as a leading hand and/or site foreman with experience in commercial and fit-out project delivery
  • QBCC Supervisor Licence advantageous
  • Cert III Carpentry qualification is required for this position
  • Solid understanding of WH&S responsibilities and compliance
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) with proficient written and verbal skills
  • Australian work rights or valid work visa required for this position
