Assistant Venue Manager – Commune Group

The role

Working closely with the Venue Manager, Head Chef and Operations team, you'll help lead daily service and support the development of a high-performing FOH team. You'll lead from the floor, champion service standards, and bring calm professionalism to every shift.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting daily operations, rostering and stock control
  • Leading, coaching and motivating FOH teams
  • Maintaining high service and guest experience standards
  • Supporting team culture, safety, and compliance
  • What we're looking for
  • 1–2 years' experience in a leadership or assistant management role
  • Strong understanding of premium service standards
  • Confident communicator with a hands-on, people-first mindset
  • A positive leader who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative venues
