Y3 Smiles Dental is a brand-new, modern dental clinic in Melbourne's northern suburbs. We are seeking an enthusiastic
Dental Assistant / Receptionist
to join our team.

This role is perfect for someone who is friendly, motivated, and enjoys working in both clinical and front-desk settings. As we are a new clinic, you will also support the team with ad hoc tasks as directed by your supervisor, helping us build a welcoming and patient-centred practice.

We are located walking distance from train station.

About the Role

Dental Assisting:

  • Provide chairside support to dentists during procedures
  • Set up and maintain clean, safe treatment rooms
  • Assist with sterilisation and infection control processes
  • Support patients with comfort and care during their visits

Reception:

  • Greet patients and manage appointments (booking, rescheduling, follow-ups)
  • Handle phone and email enquiries with professionalism
  • Process payments and assist with health fund claims
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the clinic

What We're Looking For

  • Completed Cert III in Dental Assisting
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant and/or Receptionist in Australia
  • Strong understanding of infection control and dental procedures
  • Confident communication and excellent organisational skills
  • Team player with a proactive, positive attitude
  • Friendly, professional, and approachable personality
