Description

  • Oversee and manage the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation and company policies.
  • Review and validate payroll reports to maintain accuracy.
  • Support the team in addressing payroll-related inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise payroll processes.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data confidentiality.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills.
  • Contribute to process improvements and implementation of payroll systems.

Profile

A successful Payroll Team Leader should have:

  • Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in the business services industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
