North Lakes (Brisbane) | $95–$130K+ incl. super | Unlimited CPD | Flexible Hours
Let's skip straight to the important part:
We are looking for one Speech Pathologist to bring at least 4 years of experience in the paediatric private practice space to our cohesive and playful North Lakes team. We're offering career pathways in a way that feels supportive, playful, and rewarding.
Hi, I'm Bec, co-founder and Managing Director of Progress Pathways. I'm proud of what our team has achieved over the past 3.5 years. Our small but mighty team of 13 therapists has built three thriving practices across Kedron, North Lakes, and Burleigh Heads.
We're lifelong learners, dedicated to helping families achieve meaningful progress while working together to provide best-practice care. Our North Lakes location, launched in January 2025, is co-located with Delta Gymnastics, giving you access to unique spaces and opportunities to enrich therapy outcomes.
Who We're Looking ForThis role will suit a Speech Pathologist who:
- is interested in developing their skills to include video interaction intervention, support with eating and drinking, literacy and AAC to improve outcomes for children and families,
- wants to specialise in supporting children under 12, delivering holistic care that involves their families, and
- enjoys working within a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, leveraging collaboration to deliver best-practice care.
We welcome applications from:
- Experienced SPs – with at least 4 years of paediatric private practice experience, ready to grow with strong support.
- Parents returning to work – seeking a flexible, family-friendly role.
We welcome applicants wishing to start in 2025 (we will even offer a Christmas pay continuity bonus... we know moving at this time of year can be hard) and will also welcome applicants for a 2026 start.
Why Join Progress Pathways?- Competitive salary – $100,000–$130,000+ pa (incl. super), based on experience and caseload preferences, plus a laptop and travel allowance.
- Flexible work design – with options including a 4-day week, 9-day fortnight, or flexible hours. Work primarily from our well-equipped clinic, with access to school and kindy visits and our co-located Delta Gymnastics facilities.
- Up to 5 weeks of annual leave – earn bonus leave from your first 6 months (100% of our team did last year), adding an additional week of annual leave.
- Diverse caseload with autonomy – work with children 12 years and under across a range of presentations and tailor your caseload to your strengths and interests. You have agency over your caseload.
- Career progression – we promote from within, with opportunities for leadership, supervision, and clinical mastery.
- Unlimited CPD – pursue the training that excites you, on us
- Strong clinical support – scheduled 1:1 and group supervision, multi-disciplinary team meetings, frequent check-ins, and access to a comprehensive resource library.
- Support for life's challenges - we have partnered with Wisdom Wellbeing to offer our team (and their signficant other, and any children aged over 16 years) 24/7/365 access to professional counselling. We know that life happens, and we all need extra support sometimes.
- Work-life balance – we keep work within work hours (including a strict "no laptops on the lunch table" rule) and continually refine our systems to make work sustainable, from integrating AI to adjusting session lengths.
- Exclusive partnership with Delta Gymnastics – We are co-located with Delta Gymnastics, offering you incredible therapy opportunities with a wealth of resources at your fingertips.
- Beautiful clinic environment – modern, spacious, and welcoming, designed to support you and the families you work with.
- Insurance coverage - we cover your Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance for you. One less bill for you to think about
Founded in 2022, Progress Pathways has always had two goals:
- Give kids more opportunities to thrive.
- Be the best workplace for allied health professionals.
We've grown into a collaborative, values-driven team. We're always improving – refining session structures and integrating tools like AI to reduce admin load – so our team can focus on what matters most: delivering quality care.
Our North Lakes venue opened in January 2025, launched by two existing team members dedicated to offering exceptional care to northern Brisbane families. These valued team members are excited to grow their team
