About Us

Marshall Beattie Automation is an established and growing company specialising in the design, installation, repair and servicing of automatic gates, automatic doors and associated access control equipment. We focus primarily on the commercial and industrial sectors across Perth and wider WA. Based in Belmont, our team includes qualified electricians and skilled tradespeople, fully supported by our sales, operations and administration team.

About the Role

We're looking for a driven and technically minded full-time Service Coordinator to join our team. Your role will involve a combination of scheduling reactive breakdown and preventative maintenance work for service technicians, job tracking, communication with clients and technicians, and assisting in administrative tasks related to service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule service jobs for our technicians.
  • Act as the first point of contact for client enquiries and job requests.
  • Allocate resources and manage job priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Liaise with site staff, project managers, and suppliers as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry in our job management and reporting systems.
  • Support the preparation of service reports and sourcing/ordering parts from suppliers.
  • Monitor and update job progress, compliance documents, and safety checklists.
  • Invoicing clients and checking daily timesheets for payroll.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar Service Coordinator, Scheduler, or Operations Support role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Adherence to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency with job management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • A knowledge of the SIMPRO package would be an advantage, but full on the job training will be provided.

Highly Desirable

  • Demonstrated experience in an office based role where you have scheduled and coordinated field based staff.
  • Experience within a similar service based industry (Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, property management, strata management etc.)
  • Some understanding of the electrical industry or a technical aptitude will be highly regarded.
