About Destiny Rescue

Destiny Rescue is a global Christian not-for-profit organisation that has restored hope to thousands of children affected by sexual exploitation and human trafficking through rescue operations and reintegration programs across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Our Australian office plays a vital role in supporting these international efforts through fundraising, advocacy, and donor engagement, enabling transformational change for vulnerable children around the world.

The Role

We are looking for a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead Destiny Rescue Australia, championing a Christian ethos across culture, operations, and stakeholder engagement. You will lead and inspire a passionate national fundraising team, guide the Executive Team, staff, and volunteers, and strengthen strategic partnerships while serving as a key link to Destiny Rescue International.

  • Develop leadership and staff capabilities
  • Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and best practices
  • Represent Destiny Rescue nationally and internationally at events and advocacy platforms
  • Oversee financial and operational sustainability
  • Partner with the Board on governance, strategy, and organisational growth
Who We Are Looking For

You lead with integrity and live out an authentic Christian faith aligned with Destiny Rescue's values. You are a strategic and optimistic pioneer who inspires teams, fosters collaboration, and cultivates a culture of innovation and accountability. You have a proven track record of building deep, trusting relationships with donors and stakeholders and confidently adapting strategies to drive mission-focused impact locally and globally.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, leadership, nonprofit management, or equivalent experience
  • Proven executive leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills
  • Track record in corporate fundraising, donor engagement, and stakeholder relationship management
  • Experience managing budgets, operations, and organisational growth
  • Proficiency in leveraging digital tools and software, including CRM systems, productivity platforms, and emerging technologies such as AI, to drive innovation and operational excellence
  • Experience in regulated environments and compliance oversight
  • Public speaking experience with diverse audiences
  • Commitment to Christian faith and Destiny Rescue's mission
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
