About this opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, customer-centric, experienced team player to join our team on a Permanent, Full-Time basis.
- Develop and Manage Existing & Potential Customers' Portfolios
- Replying to sales & customer enquiries
- Providing Customers with rate quotations
- Updating systems filing of rate change or changes to service agreements, in OOCL Logistics Customer Service Agreement (CSA) or other system.
- Maintaining rate guidelines sheets for tariff quoting and individual customers quoting
- Performing research on existing and potential clients to ensure each clients needs are understood, recorded and communicated internally to all required staff of OOCL Logistics.
- Developing relationships with clients to ensure business retention and growth.
- Attending to sales enquiries via phone, email and
- Developing new business opportunities via telephone & email sales efforts.
- Attending face-to-face customer meetings (new and existing)
- Inputting and maintaining sales plans to match KPI sales targets set by management.
- Updating and maintaining OOCL Logistics CRM.
- Excellent multitasking skills within their workspace as well as computer savvy
About you
Our ideal candidate will embody our shared values of innovation and creating value for customers, have exposure to the freight industry as well as a passion and willingness to further develop their skill set under the guidance of the OOCL Logistics team.
- Must have at least 2 years of Outside sales experience in the logistics industry.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Accurate and highly detail orientated
- Can-do attitude with multitasking skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Must be able to meet deadlines.
- Be an excellent team player and be able to work effectively under pressure.
- General Shipping and Logistics Knowledge
- The successful candidate will also display excellent communication skills, the ability to converse with people of all levels and be well organized, efficient, and effective.
- Must have full working rights in Australia.
