The Role

Position Title: Contracts Coordinator

Contract Type: This position is a full-time, maximum term contract until 30 June 2027 with the potential for extension or permanent pending ongoing funding. Part time hours may be considered for the right applicant.

Location: Kingswood, NSW (hybrid opportunities may be considered upon application in line with our Work from Home Policy).

Remuneration: From $95,702 to $106,108* (potential maximum grossed up salary equivalent $103,184 - $113,590**)

*Dependent on skills and experience

**Based on NFP salary packaging tax benefits (which may be subject to criteria)

About:

The Contracts Coordinator will guide and support staff to build organisational capability in all aspects of procurement and contracting to ensure they have the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to undertake these activities in compliance with the Wentworth Healthcare Commissioning Framework.

  • The Contracts Coordinator will be responsible for leading key outcomes that include.
  • Design, develop, implement and regularly review strategic procurement and contracting and contract performance management processes.
  • Regularly review existing procurement and contract resources such as procedures, guides, workflows and templates based on contemporary best practice.
  • Review and draft as appropriate commissioned services contracts.
  • Lead the development and regular review of procurement and contract management training guides and deliver training and mentor relevant staff.
  • Lead the development and appropriate monitoring of key performance measures and targets for commissioned services.
  • Co-lead the expansion of the Wentworth Healthcare contract management system.
Selection Requirements:

Essential

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent targeted experience in procurement and contract management, or legal environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement and/or projects and/or contract management including understanding of probity and risk management.
  • Highly developed communication and engagement skills with demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills to make authoritative judgements and manage the risks and outcomes of multiple projects on multiple levels within the scope of work.
  • Meticulous attention to detail especially in the development and review of procurement contracts, contract schedules and related documentation.
