We have an opportunity for a Head of Product (Air Solutions) to join Samsung Electronics Australia. In this role you will focus on the Air Solutions category and be responsible for the end-to-end management of the product portfolio to meet and exceed revenue and market share objectives in this category.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Direct management of the Air Solutions category – Air Conditioning and Air Purifier

  • End to end management of the total go-to market strategy across the product portfolio including: Price, Distribution, Promotion and Product Mix.

  • Achieving category targets through ongoing analysis of GTM strategy and marketing programmes, and adjusting strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.

  • Work closely with broader team to develop the vision and strategy for the product portfolio and ensure effective communication across all internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support the sales team in formulating and executing the channel strategy for the product portfolio

  • Formulate revenue forecasts for the product portfolio, in accordance with information provided by National Sales Managers  

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Product/Category (ideally, from FMCG, consumer goods, HVAC or consumer electronics etc.)

  • Fundamental understanding of the Supply Chain Management processes, with direct exposure or experience preferred

  • Proven ability to achieve budgeted targets, revenue targets and specific product sales targets

  • Experience in building and maintaining internal and external senior stakeholder relationships

  • Consultative and influential communication style with the ability to present technical concepts and products
