Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dedicated team at B & E Foods Head Office. This critical role will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and efficient financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices, reconciling purchase orders, delivery receipts, and invoices with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain vendor accounts, track payments, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the procurement and finance teams to ensure smooth and efficient payment processing.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounts payable policies and procedures.
  • Generate and review financial reports related to accounts payable.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable process.

About you:

  • Mandarin-speaking ability is preferred due to customer and business needs.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • A commitment to accuracy, accountability, and financial integrity.
