At Meriton, our Building Managers are much more than caretakers of buildings, they're at the heart of our communities, blending property management expertise with hands-on operational leadership. It's a role that adds variety, impact, and career growth, offering you the chance to take ownership of a site while still enjoying tenant engagement, leasing responsibilities, and team collaboration.

As a Meriton Building Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of a residential building, manage leasing within your site, and work closely with our supportive property management and operations teams. Your strong understanding of building, leasing and strata management will be highly valued and you'll be trained and supported every step of the way.

We're ideally looking for someone with at least two years of experience in Building Management and some background in property or leasing management and a desire to take the next exciting step in their career.

To help you build a strong foundation and depending on experience, ideally, you'll begin as a Relief Building Manager, gaining exposure across various Meriton sites. Once the right opportunity arises, you'll be placed in a permanent Building Manager role, managing your own site.

What You'll Need:

  • Building Management Experience
  • A current Assistant Agent Certificate (or willingness to obtain – Meriton will support you in achieving this)
  • Full-time working rights in Australia and relevant local experience
  • A current Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A reliable vehicle for travel across Greater Sydney or ability to travel via public transport (allowance provided)
  • Availability to be on-call for occasional after-hours emergencies, including Saturday availability (4 hours)
