This is a rewarding and challenging role working collaboratively with the Building Management Committee and Owners Corporations to ensure their mixed-use site is managed and maintained to an excellent standard. 

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Building Manager to join our team in the Sydney CBD / Potts Point area. This is a long-term and stable career opportunity, supported by our Operations team and Head Office.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Strata Building Management or a related property/facilities management role
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage contractors, residents, and committees
  • Emotional maturity, professionalism, and the ability to effectively manage different personalities
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • A proactive and service-focused mindset, with resilience and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing contractors, consultants, and service providers
  • Liaising extensively with Owners, Residents, Strata Managers and Committee Members
  • Implementing preventative maintenance programs
  • Coordinating and responding to reactive repairs
  • Scheduling statutory certifications and inspections of common property
  • Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate site records 
  • Overseeing WHS and environmental requirements, including contractor inductions and compliance
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in the strata industry is essential
  • Strong administrative and IT skills (Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence, motivate, and lead a team
  • Professional presentation, reliability, and a positive attitude
