Are you ready to take the next step in your building management career? LUNA is seeking a dedicated and commercially minded Senior Building Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of sites, working across prestigious residential communities and mixed-use/commercial properties in Sydney.
About the Role
- Hours: 38 hours per week (7:30am – 3:30pm), with on-call responsibilities as required.
- Leadership: Oversee daily operations of complex sites, ensuring smooth service delivery across both residential and commercial environments.
- Compliance & Risk: Manage WHS, AFSS, and statutory obligations, carrying out inspections and audits to maintain compliance.
- Contractor & Budget Management: Coordinate contractors, manage budgets, and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with residents, committees, and commercial tenants, providing clear communication and excellent customer service.
- Reporting & Systems: Maintain accurate records in MYBOS (or similar CMMS), preparing reports for Owners Corporations and clients.
- Problem-Solving: Handle maintenance issues, emergencies, and resident/tenant queries with a solutions-driven approach.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Basic handyman skills are advantageous.
- Ability to handle emergencies and maintain confidentiality.
Key Qualifications
- 3–5+ years' experience in building/facilities management, with exposure to commercial or mixed-use sites, is highly regarded.
- Strong background in compliance, contractor management, and budget oversight.
- Proficiency with MYBOS or similar management systems.
- Current Australian driver's licence, Police Check, and full work rights.
