Clinipath Pathology is a Perth based subsidiary of Sonic Healthcare with a reputation as a quality pathology service provider, focusing on professional excellence, reliability and excellent customer service.

We are currently seeking a full time Laboratory Assistant to work in the Microbiology Department at the Osborne Park Laboratory.

The main focus of this position is the primary processing of patient samples for microbiological analysis.

The following are the minimum essential requirements for this role:

  • Availability to work permanent evening shift hours
  • Certificate IV in Laboratory techniques, with a pathology focus
  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and within a small team with a high degree of accuracy and precision
  • Computer literacy
  • The right to work in Australia

The following is highly desirable:

  • Greater than one years' previous experience in a clinical microbiology laboratory
  • Demonstrated experience with automated testing instrumentation

The successful applicant will be required to work 4pm to 12 midnight Monday to Friday. Participation in a Saturday roster is also required. This would generally be 1 Saturday every 3 weeks working until 9pm. Sunday and Public holiday hours may be required.
