Full-Time Medical Receptionist (2 Roles)

Location: Moonee Valley Specialist Centre, Specialist Rooms
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm or 10:00am–6:00pm

About the Role

We are a busy, well-established specialist medical practice seeking two experienced and professional Medical Receptionists. This is a fast-paced, highly automated environment requiring strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

You must have proven experience using Genie software and be confident managing a wide range of administrative and patient-facing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and manage check-ins with professionalism

  • Verify and update patient details and referrals with accuracy

  • Handle high-volume phone lines and appointment scheduling

  • Process payments via Square and submit Medicare claims

  • Manage doctor and nurse diaries efficiently

  • Liaise with the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area

  • Open and close the clinic depending on shift

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in specialist rooms

  • Genie software proficiency is essential

  • Strong communication, multitasking, and data entry skills

  • Immaculate presentation and corporate attire

  • Friendly, can-do attitude and team-oriented mindset
