Administration Officer – Family Safety

About the role
The Administration Officer provides a range of high-quality administrative support to ensure efficient delivery of day-to-day operations and activities related to CHN Family, Domestic, and Sexual Violence (FDSV) Pilot. To support the program objectives, the role will collaborate closely with key external and internal stakeholders, including the Family Safety Team as well as Commissioned Service providers.
This newly created role will also actively contribute to process improvement activities to enhance the effectiveness of routine and complex coordination across CHN teams.
About the team
The Health System Integration (HSI) Team is responsible for coordinating projects and program areas centred around improvement and integration of the health system to actively respond to the needs of the ACT community.
The Family Safety Team sits within the HSI Team and is responsible for undertaking the strategic planning, design, implementation and maintenance of the FDSV Pilot initiatives aimed at improving service navigation for victim-survivors of FDSV in the ACT.

As the Administration Officer, you will be a dynamic administration professional who thrives in building good working relationships and communications with stakeholders. Your attention to detail and ability to stay organised will help you manage meetings and email correspondence, coordinate event logistics, and proactively keep program activities moving through to completion.
A successful applicant for this role will be comfortable in undertaking desktop research and applying analytical skills to contribute to reporting preparation and internal resources development. Your proficiency and experience in managing stakeholder data through CRM or SharePoint will be handy in keeping accurate records of Service Provider contracts and performance information.
Work location
This position is based in our newly renovated and modern office, located in the heart of the Belconnen town centre. We support flexibility and a hybrid work model at CHN and are happy to work with the successful candidate to ensure balance between work and life.

Position Salary: $41.91 per hour (approx. $83,089 per annum, pro rata to full-time equivalent) plus superannuation
Employment type: Part time (19 hours per week), fixed term contract for 1 year from commencement date
Working Days/hours: Negotiable, Monday to Thursday
