About the role
The Quality, Risk and Compliance Officer plays a vital role in maintaining and ensuring the organisation meets its governance, risk and compliance requirements. This position works closely with internal stakeholders to strengthen systems, implement and maintain quality, risk and compliance processes, and ensure compliance with legislation, regulation, funder requirements and the CHN risk and quality frameworks. This position is a hands-on coordination role which includes wide range of activities ranging from providing advice to senior leadership, developing, implementing and maintaining systems of work, leading audit processes, and document management activities.
About the team
You will join the Corporate Services Unit (CSU) that sits within the broader Office of CEO Business Unit. CSU serves as a central point of expertise and support for the organisation, bringing together a range of key professional services including Office Coordination, Finance and Procurement, Human Resources, Business and Data Analysis, Quality and Compliance, Risk and IT.

You are a seasoned Quality, Risk and Compliance professional who demonstrates understanding of governance frameworks such as data governance, information security, quality management and risk management frameworks. Familiarity with ISO standards including operational knowledge of ISO3100, ISO27001 and ISO9001 is important in this role. The successful candidate will also have the skills to lead change processes, build engagement and demonstrate project leadership capabilities at all levels of the organisation is important in this role. Your passion in driving excellence by proactively identifying and solving process issues, providing guidance and building awareness on a wide range of quality, risk and compliance topics will see you drive meaningful positive outcomes in a not-for-profit health organisation.
This position will suit a candidate who has at least 3 years of experience in governance, quality, risk and compliance with additional demonstrated experience working in position central to developing, maintaining or contributing to organisation process and systems of work. Working knowledge of ISO standards and ability to drive compliance programs is important to demonstrate in your application.
Work location

Position Salary: $55.10 per hour (approx. $109,227 per annum) plus superannuation
