Your new role

As an APS6 Geospatial Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of geospatial solutions. You'll work with environmental data from various sources to create digital products that support policy and operational outcomes. The role involves geospatial data processing, analysis, and visualisation, as well as stakeholder engagement and project coordination.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience developing and maintaining geospatial solutions using tools such as ArcGIS Pro, Python, or FME
  • Strong understanding of spatial and temporal data, including large and complex datasets
  • Ability to work collaboratively with service designers, analysts, and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of environmental science or related disciplines is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Git, and web development frameworks (e.g. Angular/React) is an advantage.
