As the organisation refines its structure and invests in team capability, this is a great opportunity to play a key role within a high-performing and inclusive environment.

As Asset Management Officer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and operating the organisation's Asset Management and related systems. You'll be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of asset data, supporting the development and implementation of asset and maintenance management plans, and coordinating maintenance activities across a diverse asset portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and operate Asset Management systems (Dynamics 365), ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance with ISO55000 principles.
  • Schedule and manage asset condition inspections, audits, and the close-out of resulting actions.
  • Support staff in the effective use of asset management systems, providing training and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to develop and review asset and maintenance management plans, ensuring all asset classes are covered.
  • Coordinate and manage the programming and scheduling of maintenance activities, including planned maintenance regimes and work order management.
  • Provide regular analysis and reporting to support asset management objectives and compliance.
  • Ensure asset data is updated following renewals, replacements, maintenance, and disposals.
  • Promote safety, environmental awareness, and risk management in line with organisational frameworks.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, inclusivity, and open communication.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in Asset Management and CMMS (MS Dynamics 365 knowledge or experience highly regarded)
  • Mechanical or electrical trade qualification (desirable) and/or Certificate in Asset Management.
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning and works program delivery, ideally within a ports, marine, or infrastructure environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • High level of conceptual and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

This role is well-suited to candidates at an intermediate level who are eager to develop their expertise. You'll be supported with on-the-job training and opportunities to grow your skills, making this an excellent step for those looking to advance their career in Asset Management.

What you'll get in return

In return for your commitment, skills and experience you will receive:
