About the role

We're looking for a motivated and detail-driven Contracts Administrator | Estimator to join our team at Firmus Building in Canterbury, NSW.

In this full-time role, you'll work closely with our Managing Director and Construction Manager to prepare accurate cost estimates, manage contracts, and provide essential support to our site team across a range of custom home projects.


What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and managing client and subcontractor purchase orders, engagements, and variations
  • Producing detailed cost estimates and tender proposals
  • Monitoring project budgets, progress, and costs
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Assisting with approvals, design coordination, and occupancy certificates
  • Supporting the wider construction team with day-to-day operations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar contracts administration or estimating role within residential construction
  • Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimating principles
  • Proficiency with construction-specific software (estimating and project management tools)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Tertiary qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • A valid driver's licence (role is office-based with occasional site visits)
