About the Role

Based in BYD's Melbourne office in Mulgrave, what we need is a sales-focused professional responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities within the fleet sector. Nurturing strong relationships with corporate clients, leasing companies, and other stakeholders to drive sales growth in all areas of fleet business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the establishment and strategic direction of a national OEM Fleet business.
  • Drive fleet sales performance across Business, Corporate, and other channels in alignment with national strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, fleet brokers, and leasing companies.
  • Identify new business opportunities and leads through direct engagement with Fleet Management Organisations, Medium to Large businesses.
  • Support dealer partners with end-to-end fleet program execution.
  • Manage the performance and compliance of national fleet programs.
  • Maintain fleet program claims and documentation.

About You
With a strong background in OEM or FMO fleet and business development within the automotive is a must. A customer-first mindset and a proven track record of delivering fleet results in relationship-driven environments.

You'll bring:

  • Demonstrated success in a fleet business development role, ideally with 5+ years' experience in novated, business, corporate and medium/large fleet business.
  • Extensive and strong existing contacts within FMO's and fleet business and a hunger to build new relationships.
  • High-level communication and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging key decision-makers.
  • Experience in managing tender processes and developing tailored fleet proposals.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to analyze and respond to market dynamics.
