About the role

Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, this key customer-facing role is responsible for providing exceptional service to customers and acting as the bridge between the workshop and our valued clients. As an Automotive Service Advisor at Oldmac Toyota Springwood, you will be responsible for managing customer bookings, communicating progress on vehicle repairs, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

  1. Liaising with customers to understand their vehicle repair and maintenance needs
  2. Scheduling and coordinating vehicle drop-offs, repairs, and collections
  3. Clearly explaining repair recommendations and costs to customers
  4. Providing updates on the status of vehicle repairs and addressing any customer concerns
  5. Ensuring efficient workflow through the workshop and proactively managing any delays
  6. Maintaining detailed records of all customer interactions and vehicle service history
  7. Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with clients
  8. Supporting the wider team as needed to deliver a seamless customer experience

What we're looking for

  1. A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers
  3. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding solutions
  4. A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service
