Are you passionate about teaching children, creating a safe and supportive environment, and helping kids develop confidence in the water? We're looking for a Learn to Swim Coach to join our friendly team

About the Role:

  • Hours: 5–10 hours per week (based on experience and skill set)
  • Class sizes: Small groups of 4–6 children
  • Age range: Students aged 4–14 years
  • Weekly program and goals provided by our Learn to Swim Coordinator
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver fun, engaging, and effective swimming lessons
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning space
  • Communicate positively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Adapt lessons for different ages and skill levels
  • Work collaboratively with other Coaches, Club Manager, and Committee
  • Be open to feedback and ongoing professional development

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is patient, creative, and enthusiastic about working with children
  • Can hold the attention of students of varying ages
  • Is committed to safety and professionalism
  • Enjoys being part of a team and shows initiative
  • Is willing to learn and grow in the role

Essential Requirements:

  • Current Water Safety Instructor Qualifications
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Prior experience preferred.
