Are you a Chippy and maybe want to get off the tools? Do you have a trade background?

We at Door City are looking for you. We opened our very first store in 2006 in Maroochydore, QLD and we have grown to become three retail stores across South East Queensland. At the heart of what we do, we believe in providing excellent quality, innovative, Door Solutions supported by exceptional customer service at a value price.

Due to growth, we are looking to expand our sales estimators team.

What the role is:

  • A complete sales role which includes the whole sales cycle from the quote right through to the installation of the final product
  • Delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Processing payments through our online POS system.
  • Managing customer relations during the project
  • Managing your project procurement, placing orders with our suppliers
  • Following a clearly defined project management process
  • Working alternate Saturdays

What our successful candidate will be:

  • You will be passionate – passionate about our product, passionate about customer service.
  • You could be a carpenter/Joiner wanting to get off the tools
  • You will be friendly and engaging.
  • Methodical and able to follow a project management process
  • You will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Quick learner and procedure-driven
  • Computer literate, including CRM systems
  • Fit and healthy
  • Team player essential - we all jump in when necessary

Essentials / Desirables

  • A big smile and positive, winning attitude, healthy
  • Previous customer service experience, ideally in a tradie/retail environment
  • Be able to follow a process & self-discipline
  • Familiar with CRM systems
  • Commitment to working alternating Saturdays
